Software Development has been a passion of mine since I wrote my first "Hello World" when I was just 15 years old. This passion motivated me to keep learning new programming languages, start several personal projects, give my very best effort every day at work, learn English, and moved to the United States to get a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering.

During my career I had the opportunity to work as Software Developer, Web/C# Developer, Java Developer, and I loved every minute of it!

Melaleuca - Rexburg, Idaho

  • Maintained and enhanced Melaleuca's website and internal software systems written in C# using .NET Framework, including technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Database, Angular, and Razor.
  • Member of the Software Developer Support Team in charge of adding new functionalities, troubleshooting errors, and fixing problems. Received great reviews and compliments from managers and gatekeepers for the accomplished work.

Web/C# Developer

Brigham Young University-Idaho - Rexburg, Idaho

  • Developed new implementations required by the University with C# and Razor, using the MVC model to create a robust website, as well as providing professional and friendly components used by faculty and students.
  • In charge of BYUI's website architecture, the creation of new functionalities and pages, maintenance of site errors, and provided trainings and support for new programmers.

Developed several projects using Node JS, ASP.NET, Web APIs, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, MySQL, WordPress, Social Marketing, Android Applications, E-Commerce, Analysis, UI, and SEO.

Some examples:

  • ASP.NET Core SEO Template: Public Github Repository containing a .NET Core MVC 3.1 template SEO optimized to build a website in a SEO friendly way, to have a better chance of being indexed by Google and get more organic visits.
  • 10 Pages a Day: Created a website using NodeJS, PostgreSQL and Bootstrap to motivate people to read more books and share their favorite quotes.
  • Mi Cuil Online: Developer and owner of a website that receives more than 300,000 unique visitors each month. Developed using HTML, PHP, CSS, Bootstrap, and applying the best SEO strategies to reach top positions on Google.
  • Stadiums Euro 2020: Android Application available in Google Play to download to locate, get distance and directions to all the stadiums that were used during the UEFA Euro in 2020.
